A systematic form of items that have relationships with one another as well as the context as a whole, that all bring value and meaning to the component parts.
I chose a printed Hush clothing catalogue as my catalogue.
Analysis of set.
{Re} Presenting – Took the lifestyle images and created a poetry book using the lifestyle imagery large with the written words hidden on the open fly of the catalogues.
Classification – Recreated the set according to the overall hue and colour of each image. It created a set of six, cream, green, red, yellow, black, blue.
Subverting – Recreated the set as Alt Text for each image so it became all written word as opposed to all images.
Hijacking – I allocated a letter to each type of composition from the catalogue and created a graphic poster with the letter repeated the number of times it appeared in the catalogue.
